About the founder
Nancy Wolff Leary, founder and president of Online Amplify, offers clients expertise gained by over 25 years of related experience in both corporate settings and startup roles. She works with clients in a variety of industries, helping to optimize their online presence, bring visibility to their websites, and build their credibility online.
- Nancy engages in social media marketing for clients at all phases of business development, from startups to established businesses. She is well versed in the use of social sites and networks, communities, blogs, forums, and favoriting sites to help companies increase their visibility.
- Her deep expertise in optimizing the user experience includes four years of corporate website management experience with end-to-end responsibility for various applications on Verizon.com. Nancy’s user experience skills were further refined through experience as a usability tester and various consulting roles for small and mid-size companies.
- Over 15 years of corporate experience marketing, customer service, and product management served as a springboard for more recent work involving campaign development, promotions and merchandising, PR and branding for small and mid-size companies.
- Nancy’s experience in improving the effectiveness of eCommerce processes includes both corporate and startup roles. By analyzing flows, optimizing search terms, refining product descriptions and use of online promotions and merchandising techniques, Nancy has successfully improved click-through rates and sales completions for clients.
- A natural communicator, Nancy writes with ease and is able to identify and articulate the key messaging points to convey in content materials. Her expertise is gained from writing content for clients in a wide variety of industries. Nancy has written and managed various content types including websites, blogs, email newsletters, promotional materials, landing pages, collateral materials, brochures, sales aids, instructional documents, and more.
Nancy is actively engaged with many professional organizations including Search Engine Optimization and Internet Marketing, American Marketing Association and Usability Professionals Association to stay current with the latest information in online marketing, search engine optimization, eCommerce, user experience and web solutions. Nancy is a consultant and instructor for the Center for Women & Enterprise and provides expertise to other consulting organizations as well. She advises clients and conducts workshops in the New England area.
